About Us

Thomas Bartley has a unique professional experience.  After graduating from West Jefferson High School, near Columbus, OH, he enlisted in the US Air Force as a Traffic Management Specialist where he was able to work and travel the world for 10 years.  In 2003, Thomas received his honorable discharge and started a very successful career in Insurance and Annuity sales which lasted until 2009.  Missing the logistics world, he moved his family to Virginia to work for a government contractor for 2 years and then received an opportunity to move to Florida (where there was little to no chance of snow) to work as a federal civilian at Patrick AFB near Cocoa Beach.  Realizing that Thomas loved Florida but hated his job, he managed to get himself fired, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise.  He started volunteer work with a local soccer club and used his Post 9-11 GI Bill to earn an Entrepreneurship Operations Course Certificate from Eastern Florida State College.  These classes helped Thomas realize that he was meant to own a franchise.  He bought a Soccer Shots franchise in 2013 and successfully grew his business each year before selling his Brevard County territory in 2018.  Upon to recommendation of a friend, Thomas decided to open his own franchise consulting business helping others realize that owning a franchise can be a wonderful and profitable venture.  He currently lives in Melbourne with his wife of over 25 years and his daughter, who is a Junior at Melbourne High School.  Thomas' 19 year-old son is a sophomore at the University of South Florida where he majors in Music Performance playing the bassoon.  He educates his clients on the most profitable brands and determining what would be the best fit for them and their families.  Feel free to reach out via email or phone to learn more about how Thomas and TD Bartley Consulting can help!

  • If you need financing, we can refer you to 3rd party lenders who specialize in financing franchises. All too often someone’s life’s dream of franchise ownership is squashed by their local bank’s loan officer who many have little or no experience in lending to potential franchisees.
